As an Integrative Health Practitioner, wife and mom to 4 daughters, I am well aware of the time and effort needed to prioritize my own health and wellness.

I want you to know I have been right where you are today; struggling to find answers to my own health concerns. I have also been the parent of a child struggling with health issues that brought me to my knees in desperation.

Over the years, I’ve had symptoms I knew shouldn’t be normalized, yet, I found ways to justify each one of the symptoms. The ongoing fatigue was from being a tired mom, the aching joints were probably related to a workout, the thinning eyebrows and PMS symptoms were a normal part of being a female, and finally the symptoms that frightened me the most were the chronic low white blood counts and the numbness and tingling that started on one side of my entire body. Along this journey, I’d hear answers such as “your labs all look fine.” or “autoimmune runs in your family.” Although I was thankful for my background in nursing, I took it upon myself to keep searching deeper for the “why” to these symptoms.

Through my search, I was grateful to find a practitioner who listened to my story and wanted to find the root cause of my symptoms. By utilizing functional lab tests, we were finally able to uncover the “why” of my symptoms. We started removing toxicities and restoring deficiencies within my body. I slowly started protocols to rebalance my gut microbiome , decrease the heavy metals my body had accumulated over the years, eliminate foods that were causing inflammation in my body, acknowledged stress and the impact on every hormonal system in my body, replenished my deficiencies in vitamins and omegas, and rebalanced my hormones and thyroid naturally. My body and mind started responding positively in a short amount of time. This is what root cause healing looks like. It wasn’t just one system in my body. Multiple systems needed special attention and I was finally able to understand what I needed to help rebalance my body.

HEALING TAKES TIME. HEALING IS CONTINUOUS.

My body and mind feel amazing. I believe you should feel good at any age and you can actually feel better as you age. I continue to work on my health and wellness daily with an integrative and holistic approach. I continue to strive for progress in different areas of my life, with my health and wellness as a balanced priority.

It wasn’t until my children had their own health struggles that I really found my passion for root cause health and a burning desire to help others heal. When your child is not well, something lights a fire from within a mother’s soul. I was not going to settle with the unknown symptoms that were robbing my child of their well-being. Again, I found myself searching for the “why.” This took time, it was painful, it took a village of people all along the way, and it meant standing strong against differing opinions of doctors. You know your child better than anyone. Never give up! Well over a year into our journey, we discovered mold in our children’s bathroom from a very slow leak that may have been there for years. Each of their bodies would show different signs of overwhelm from the mold exposure. Never give up!

During these times of heartache, complete helplessness and countless sleepless nights, I never thought the day would come that I would look back and be thankful for our journey.

The deeper and lasting message was in front of me all along, but in the middle of healing, I was not ready to accept it. HEAL YOURSELF. THEN, GO ON TO HEAL OTHERS.

Not a day goes by that I am not proud of the message I get to share as an Integrative Health Practitioner.

Discovering underlying root cause imbalances and utilizing an integrative approach to rebalance the body is my passion, and I can’t’ wait to be on this journey with you. I want this to be your last stop in your wellness journey. I believe in you and won’t give up on you.
